what makes up the conchae? superior, middle, inferior nasal meatus
what makes up the paranasal sinuses? sphenoid, ethmoid, frontal, maxilla
What is the pharnyx? muscular tube that connects cavities with the esophagus / larynx
what are the 3 areas of the pharynx? nasopharynx, oropharynx, and laryngopharynx
what makes up the nasopharnyx? uvula, pharybgeak and tubal tonsils, and auditory tube
what makes up the oropharnyx? palatine and lingual tonsils
What structures are apart of the larynx? hyoid bone, thyroid and cricoid cartilage epiglottis arytenoid cartilage and vocal / vestibular folds
what are the functions of the larynx? vocalization, router
what types of tissue line the trachea? pseudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium
what divides the primary bronchi at sternal angle? the trachea
the portion of each lung supplied by each tertiary bronchus ? bronchopulmonary segment
what creates the bronchial tree? bronchioles, primary, secondary and tertiary bronchus
what part of the bronchial tree contains cartilage plates? secondary bronchi
