Passive Transport

Passive Transport The movement of materails through a cell memberane without using energy..
Active Transport The movement of materails through a cell memberane with using energy.
Diffusion The prosess by which molecules move from an area in which they are highly concentrated to an area in which they are less concentrated.
osmosis The diffusion of water molecules through a selectivley permable memberane.
Emdocytosis The prosess of engulfing a larger partical and bring it into cell used to move molecles into the cell.
Exocytosis The prosses in which a cell releases a larg partical used to move long moleclues out of the cell.
Hypertonic Outside cell more solute, less water inside less sloute more water
Hypotonic Outside cell less solutes, more water
isotonic Same amount of water and solute inside and outside of cell.
Facilitated Diffusion Does not reqiure energybut molecules must pass through a selectively permable memberane.
