Observation A list of things we notice about the world around us
Qualitative Observation Observations based on the things we notice about the world around using our 5 senses.
Quantitative Observation Observations based on numbers and numerical data
Inferences Conclusions based on evidence
Living Things that meet all the characteristics and needs of life
Nonliving Things that don't meet all the characteristics and needs of living things
Dead Something that was once alive and now is not.
Abiotic All the living factors in an ecosystem
Biotic All the nonliving factors in an ecosystem
Ecosystem All the abiotic and biotic factors in an environment
Homeostasis The ability to maintain a stable internal environment.
