| Penis | Passes sperm into the body of the female |
| Ovaries | Produce eggs |
| Fallopian tubes | Transfer eggs from the ovary to the womb |
| Uterus | Where the baby develops |
| Vagina | Where the sperm enters the female body. It also forms the birth canal when the baby is born. |
| Menopause | Is the age at which a female stops producing eggs. |
| Sexual intercourse | When the erect penis of the male is inserted in to the vagina of the female. |
| Fertilisation | Is the fusion of the male and female nuclei to form a zygote. |
| Implantation | Is the attachment of the embryo to the lining of the uterus. |
| Pregnancy | Is the length of time a baby spends developing in the uterus. |
| Birth | Is caused by the contractions of muscles in the uterus. |
| Afterbirth | Consists of the placenta and the umbilical cord. |
| Contraception | Is the prevention of fertilisation or pregnancy. |
| The menstrual cycle | Is a series of changes that happen about every 28 days in the female body. |
| Ovulation | When the egg is released from the ovary. |
| Contraception Methods | Include: avoiding sex at certain times of the month and using a condom or cap, using chemicals to kill sperm. |
