what is an enzyme A catalyst that speeds up a reaction but it does not use up its self
What are catalysts? Catalysts are substances that reduce the activation energy of a chemical reaction, facilitating it or making it energetically viable. The catalyst increases the speed of the chemical reaction.
when is enzyme action occured Enzyme action occurs when the enzyme and substrate collide. During the collision the substrate slots into the active site of the enzyme. Collisions happen because of the rapid random movement of molecules.
some anabolic reactions are.. Photosynthesis and muscle growth from amino acids are examples of anabolic reactions.
a catabolic enzyme? An example of a catabolic enzyme is amylase. Amylase converts starch into maltose.
an anabolic enzyme? An example of an anabolic enzyme is DNA polymerase. This enzyme repairs DNA.
