pollination the transfer of pollen from a male reproductive structure to a female reproductive structure
angiosperm a group of seed plants
flower the reproductive structure of an angiosperm
spali leaflike structure
petal a colorful leaflike structure
stamen the male reproductive parts
pistils the female parts
ovary a hollow structure that protects the seeds as they develop
fruit a ripened ovary and other structures that enclose one or more seeds
monocots are angiosperms that only have one seed leaf
dicots produce seeds with two seed leaves
