| population density | group of organism of the the same species that occupy the same geographic place at the same time |
| population growth rate | how fast a specific population grows. |
| age structure | in any population, the number of individuals in their pre-reproductive, reproductive, and post-reproducitive years. |
| demographic transition | population change from high birth rates and death rates to low birth rates and death rates. |
| demography | study of human population based on size, density, movement, distribution, and birth and death rates. |
| zero population growth | occurs when the birth rate equals the death rate. |
