Immune Attack Vocab

vocabulary words from the game Immune Attack

TermDefinition
Monocytes Large white blood cells which are found in connective tissue. They transform to macrophages and kill invading bacteria.
Fibroblasts Stem cells which serve as conductors and repairers. They transform into many types of cells and repair damage to connective tissue or heal scar tissue.
Staphylococcal A toxin which is often the cause of food poisoning. They grow on foods with low water activity.
Lymphocytes Main type of immune cells. They are divided into B cells and T cells which target specific invasions.
Neutrophils White blood cells which destroy invading bacteria and other attackers. They attack quickly and in large numbers.
