TermDefinition
Multiple Alleles three or more forms of a gene that code for single trait.
Sex Chromosomes one of 23 pairs of chromosomes.
Sex-Linked Gene genes on the X and Y chromosomes. their alleles passed from parent to child on a sex chromosome.
Carrier a person who has on recessive allele for a trait and one dominant allele.

Genetic Disorder an abnormal condition that a person inherits through gene or chromosomes.
Pedigree a chart or "family tree" that tracks which members of a family have a particular trait.
Karyotype a picture of all the chromosomes in a cell.
