Crossing Over Exchange of genetic material during meiosis; causes genetic variation among sex cells (gametes)
Nondisjunction Failure of homologous chromosomes to seperate properly resulting in an unequal number of chromosomes in each cell. Cause of DOWN SYNDROME (TRISONOMY 21)!
