Heredity the passing of traits from parents off spring.
Trait a character instinct that is passed on to the rest of the offspring
Fertilization the joining of a sperm and a egg.

punnet squre a chart that shows all the possible combination of alleles that can result from a genetic cross.
phenotype an organisms physical appearance or visible traits.
genotype an organisms genetic make up or allele combinations.
homozygous having two different genes.
codomince a condemnation in which neither two alleles of a gene are dominant
meiosis the processes of formation that occurs during the sex cells
messenger RNA RNA that copies the coded message for dna from inside the nucleus.
transfer RNA RNA in the cytoplasm that carries an amino acid.
Mutation a change in a gene or chromosome.
