Cell wall Animal cells don't have one. Plants made of cellulose.gives strength structure and rigidity to plant thru Turgor Pressure.
Cell Memebrane outside covering,determines what goes in and out of cell,flexible but supports cells.
Vacuole storage unit in cells that hold water,LARGE in plants small in animal cells.
Nucleus control center of cell,houses DNA,controls cell growth and makes ribosome.
Lysosome Contains digestive enzymes to break things down in cell
Mitochondria powerhouse" of the cell. Produces energy by breaking down glucose
Cytoplasm gelatinous "goo", semi-transparent fluid that fills the cells. Organelles are suspended in it.
Ribosome Site of protein synthesis (makes protein)
Rough ER covered in ribosomes, stores proteins
Smooth ER transports cell products
Golgi Body Packages cell products for transport(like UPS)
Chloroplast captures radiant energy and converts it to chemical energy(C6H12O6). Has Chlorophyll - green pigment that absorbs light.
