Cell wall animal cells dont have one plants: made of chloroplast
Cell membrane (doors) outside covering, determines what goes in and out of cell
Vacuole (water tower) storage unit in cells that holds water, large in plant cells not in animal cells
Lysosome (eating) contains digestive enzymes to break things down into cell
Mitochondria (power) power house of the cell, generates energy to the cell
Cytoplasm gelatinous semi-transparent organelles are suspended in cytoplasm
Ribosome (meat) site of protein synthesis
Chloroplast (captures) site if photosynthesis:captures radiant energy and converts it to chemical energy
Nucleus (DNA) houses DNA control center of cell controls cell growth and makes ribosome
