What is the difference between horizontal, vertical, and radial balance? horizontal makes it look longer, vertical makes it look taller and radial makes you start from the center and expand out

What is asymmetrical balance? Example? When something isn't the same on both sides like the pictures frames above my fireplace
What is the difference between horizontal and vertical lines? horizontal is East and West and vertical is North and South
What is the golden mean? the ratio

What are the five types of balance? informal, formal, radial, asymmetrical and symmetrical
What are four types of rhythm?
What does unity or harmony mean? how two or more things a=go together well
What are the two things texture involves?
What are the four types of line? curved, vertical, horizontal and diagonal
What is proportion? It is a piece of a whole object
Which of the five types of balance suggests excitement or interest? informal
What is symmetrical balance? Example? When something is the same
What is emphasis? What is another name for it? the importance of something, value
What happens when you see a continuous line? it looks like it will keep going on forever
What is another name for symmetrical balance? formal balance
What is another name for asymmetrical balance? informal balance
What is the difference between gradation and radiation? gradation is when one thing is different in a picture and radiation is when you focus on the center and then your eye pulls out towards the sides
