What is a monochromatic color scheme? A color scheme using tints and shades of only one color.
What is an analogous color scheme? A color scheme using three or more colors next to each other on the color wheel
What is an accented neutral color scheme? A neutral color scheme with a pop of only one color.
What color scheme is 2 colors opposite on the color wheel. A complementary color scheme.
How many colors in a split complemetary color scheme? There are 3 colors in a split complementary scheme.
Name the Primary colors Yellow, Red, and Blue
Name the secondary colors Violet, Green, and Orange
What is the value of a color? The lightness or darkness of a color
What is the intensity of a color mean? The pureness of a color
What is the hue? Hue is the color itself
How do you make a tint? Mix a saturated color with a little bit of white
How do you make a shade? Mix a saturated color with a little bit of black
What are the warm colors? Red, Orange, and Yellow
What are the cool colors.? Blue, Green, and Violet
What are the neutral colors? Black, Grey, White, Brown, and Tan
What is unique about the primary colors? You cannot mix any other colors to get them
Name 3 tertiary colors Red-violet, Blue-violet, and Yellow-orange
What is the proper way to name a tertiary color? The primary color first
What is another name for a tertiary color? A middle color
What is a triadic color scheme? A color scheme with the use of 3 colors of equal distance from one another
