2. What is an analogous color scheme? a color scheme that uses colors that are next to each other on the color wheel
3. What is an accented neutral color scheme? a color scheme that uses mostly neutral colors but then a hint or pop of a non-neutral color on the color wheel
4.What color scheme is 2 colors opposite on the color wheel. a complementary color scheme
5. How many colors in a split complementary color scheme? three - base color and two other colors adjacent to its compliment
6. Name the Primary colors. red, blue and yellow
7. Name the secondary colors. violet, green and orange
8. What is the value of a color? the measurement of darkness/lightness within a color
9. What is the intensity of a color mean? the measurement of brightness/dullness within a color
10. What is the hue? a gradation or variety of a color
11. How do you make a tint? add white to a pure hue
12. How do you make a shade? add black to a pure hue
13. What are the warm colors? red...orange...yellow...
14. What are the cool colors.? violet...blue...green
15. What are the neutral colors? black, white, brown & grey
16. What is unique about the primary colors? they cannot be made from other colors
17. Name 3 tertiary colors. red-orange, blue-violet & yellow-green
18. What is the proper way to name a tertiary color? intermediate color
19. What is another name for a tertiary color? an intermediate color
20. What is a triadic color scheme? a color scheme that uses colors that are evenly spaced around the color wheel
