| Calvin Cycle | The Calvin cycle is a metabolic pathway found in the stroma of the chloroplast in which carbon enters in the form of CO2 and leaves in the form of sugar. |
| NADPH | Supplies the electrons for the ETC. |
| Photosystem II | Takes place first, enzymes capture photons of light in order to energize electrons. |
| Photosystem I | Takes place after system II. It uses light to control electron transfer. |
| Chloroplast | Where the Calvin Cycle takes place. |
| Sunlight | Activates enzymes that activate the Calvin Cycle. |
| Oxygen | Given off as by product. |
| Sucrose | Synthesized by the Calvin Cycle and is exxported to be used as energy by plant. |
| ATP | Used as engergy for the Calvin Cycle. |
| Electron Transport Chain (ETC) | Creates proton gradiant that drives ATP synthesis. |
