classification the procces of grouping things based on their similarities
taxonomy scientific study of how living things are classified.
binomial nomenclature the naming system Linnaeus.
genus a classification grouping that contains similar, closely related organism.
species a group of similar organism that can mate with each other and produce offspring that can also mate and reproduce.
prokaryote an organism whose cells lack a nucleus.
nucleus a dense area ina cell that contains nucleic acids.
eukaryotes organisms in a domain.
microscope a instruments that makes small objects look larger.
cell theory a widely accepted explanation of the relationship between cells and living things
