| Innate Behavior | Is the inherent inclination of a living organism towards a particular complex behavior. |
| Learning | The acquisition of knowledge or skills through experience, study, or by being taught. |
| Habituation | The action of habituating or the condition of being habituated. |
| Insight Learning | Immediate and clear learning or understanding that takes place without overt trial-and-error testing. |
| Imprinting | Impress or stamp (a mark or outline) on a surface or body. |
| Migration | Seasonal movement of animals from one region to another. |
| Circadian Rhythm | A daily rhythmic activity cycle, based on 24-hour intervals, that is exhibited by many organisms. |
| Courtship | The mutual attraction between individuals of the opposite sex. |
| Territory | An area defended by an animal or group of animals against others of the same sex or species. |
| Agression | Hostile or violent behavior or attitudes toward another; readiness to attack or confront. |
| Communication | The imparting or exchanging of information or news. |
| Language | The system of communication used by a particular community or country. |
