What is the function of the pulmonary artery? carries deoxygenated blood to the lungs
What is the function of the pulmonary vein? brings oxygenated blood back to the heart from the lungs
What is the function of the right atrium? receives deoxygenated blood from the vena cavas
What is the function of the right ventricle? contracts to propel deoxygenated blood to the lungs
What is the function of the SVC? brings deoxygenated blood from the head, arms, and upper trunk back tot he heart
