What is the definition of control in the scientific method. The controlled variable that is left alone
What is the independent variable The independent variable Is the variable that is relied upon by the dependent variable.
What is the dependent variable The dependent variable that relies upon the independent variable
What is a constant A constant is something that is kept the same in every experiment
What is the experimental group The experimental group is the group that is modified or tested in the experiment
Hypothesis An if then statement that is an educated guess on what will happen during an experiment
Negative relationship a relationship between two variables is negative if the slope in a corresponding graph is negative
Positive relationship A relationship between two variables in which both variables move in tandem
Evidence the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid.
Analysis detailed examination of the elements or structure of something
Mean The average amount of time that something happens in an experiment
Median The middle value of a set of numbers
Mode The most times a certain number occurs with a sequence of numbers
Conclusion The final judgement or decision that you have made after an experiment.
