The offspring of the P1 generation, and is self-pollinated. F1 generation
Offspring of the F1 generation. F2 generation
Is the pair from the parents that were the same. dominant
Is each chromosome from the parents that are different on the pair of the chromosome. recessive
It states that there are two factors controlling a given characteristic, one of which dominates the other, and these factors separate and go to different gametes when a parent reproduces. law of segregation
It states that factors controlling different characteristics are inherited independently of each other. law of independent assortment
Alleles individual inherits make up the individual. The two alleles may be the same of different. genotype
An organism with two alleles of the same type (BB or bb). homozygous
An organism with two different alleles (Bb). heterozygous
