Nucleus Control Center of a eukaryotic cell; Has a semi permeable nuclear membrane; Contains DNA, ribosomes which make protein, chromozones, nucleolus
Cell Membrane Thin lining of a cell which controls what goes in and out of the cell
Cytoplasm Gel-like substance that holds the cell's organelles in place
Chloroplast An organelle in a Plant Cell that is responsible for photosynthesis; contains chlorophyll
Chlorophyll Green liquid in Chloroplast responsible for Plant's green hue.
Mitochondria Organelle responsible for breaking sugar (glucose)to make energy in a process called Cellular Respiration.
Tissue Group of cells of the same type to perform a common function
Organ Groups of tissue that perform a specific action in a body
Organ System Groups of organs that work together to perform bodily functions
