how many chromosomes dos the nucleus have? 23 pairs
chromosomes carry.. ..genes that control the development of different characteristics-is a short length of the chromosome.
what is a healthy diet? it contains the right balance of the different foods we need.
factors causing environmental changes. Living: infectious disease, predators, availability of food sources, competitors. Non-Living: average temp. average rainfall. air/water pollution.
Food groups & their uses Carbs-provide energy. Proteins- growth,cell repair/replacement. Fibre: everything runs smoothly through digestive system. Fats: keep warm and release energy. Minerals/Vitamins: small amounts for healthy functioning.
Menstrual cycle: Stage 1 Day 1-is when the bleeding starts. the uterus lining breaks down for about four days.
Menstrual cycle: Stage 2 The lining of the uterus builds up again, from day 4-14, into a hick spongy layer full of blood vessels ready to receive a fertilised egg.
Menstrual cycle: Stage 3 an egg is released from the ovary at Day 14
Menstrual cycle: Stage 4 thickened uterus tissue lasts for around 14 days and if no fertilisied egg is received the uterus lining breaks up and the cycle repeats itself.
