magazine articles

points
the article has a..... title or headline that grabs the readers attention and persuades them to read on.
opening paragraphs... provide background info.
style is.. usually simple and conversational in tone and uses descriptive techniques
text is.. illustrated by photographs, diagrams, graphs etc. which relate to the article.
what do humurous articles use? they use exaggeration for comic effect.
what do longer articles use? sub headings.
what are used to develop the theme. anecdotes, quotations and interviews.
what leave a lasting impressions on the reader? memorable conclusions
there is little.. difference between article/ feature writing in magazines and newspapers.
