What roles does cellular reproduction play in the lives of organisms? the birth of new organisms, more commonly involves the production of new cells
What is asexual? does not involve fertilization of an egg by a sperm.
What is sexual? It requires fertilization of an egg by a sperm.
What is mitosis? Which type of reproduction is it? the division of a single nucleus into two genetically identical daughter nuclei. It is asexual production.
What is meiosis? Which type of reproduction is it? in a sexually reproducing organism the process of cell division that produces haploid gametes from diploid cells within the reproductive organs. It is sexual reproduction.
What is chromatin? Fibers composed of roughly equal amounts of DNA and protein molecules.
