How many bones does the human body have? The adult human has 206 bones
hat is the vital function of the Skeleton System? It provides support, movement, blood cell production and calcium regulation.
How many bones does the average human infants are born with? Newborns have between 300 up 350 bones which they fuse together as the body develops.
What are vertebrates? Animals with internal skeletons made of bone, are called vertebrates
Does the female skeleton system differ from the male one? Adult males and females have some variation, primarily to accommodate childbirth.
Are teeth considered part of the skeletal system? Yes, they are part of the Skeleton System
Which are the two distinctive parts of the skeletal system? the axial skeleton and the appendicular skeleton.
List some diseases of the skeletal system? Osteoporosis, leukemia and arthritis among others.
