Chemical bonds and reactions explain how an organism uses the macromolecules in food.
Explain the specific purpose of each macromolecule in the diet, by relating them to the life process they sustain.
Explain specifically what happens to a macromolecule from the time it is consumed (or synthesized) until the time it becomes usable for the cell.
