FRONTAL (coronal) divides body into front and back
TRANSVERSE (cross-sectional) divides body into upper and lower (horizontal)
OBLIQUE divides body at a slanted angle
MID-SAGITAL divides body into equal RT and LT halves (vertical)
SAGITAL divides body into half not equally (vertical)
