Step 3 Secondary Ossification-in epiphysis; spongy bone>> compact bone
Step 4 Growth- Race b/t cartilage and bone formation, length increases, metaphysis remains cartilage
Step 5 Maturation- Cartilage slows, bone replaces all cartilage, metaphysis (ephiphyseal line) forms
