TermDefinition
Biosphere The part of the Earth inhabited by living beings, it includes living and non living components.
Ecosystem A community along with the nonliving elements that sorround it.
Community Two or more populations of different species that live and interact in the same area.
Population Members of a species that inhabit the same area.
Individual A single living being made up of many cells.
Organ Structure inside an organism, composed by different types of tissues
Tissue A group of similar cells that carry out a specific function.
Cells The molecules get together in this types of units with life of their own.
Organelle A structure inside a cell that realices specific function.
Molecules Are the union of two or more atoms.
Atoms The smallest particle of an element. Its formed by electrons, protons and neutrons.
Biotic Factors All living things an organism interacts with
Abiotic Factors All non-living things that an organism interacts with in an environment Ex: climate, temperature, sunlight soil, humidity, wind
