Types of Intracellular messengers: neurotransmitters, hormones, neurohormones, neuromodulators, paracrines, autocrines, pheromones
Autocrine acts locally, have effect on cells which release chemical signals. FA derivitive
Paracrine releases signal thaat affects near by cells. FA derivitive
Neurotransmitter travels through presynaptic cleft.
Endocrine Messenger carries the intracellular signal produced by endocrine glands.
Hormone Transport how they are carried depends on if the hormone is water soluable. travel freely or bind to proteins
Different types of hormones. protiens. AA Derivatives. FA Derivatives. Steriods.
