Animal cell is a cell in animals(mammals) that help our body function
Plant cell are cells in plants that help them live
Bacteria cell are the cells in bacteria that gives out viruses
Mitochonddrian where glucose is broken down to release energy
Ribsome organelle that serve for where protiens are made
Vesicle a fluid or air-filled cavity
Nucleus a organ that acts as the controlcenter for the cell
Chloroplast A membrane-bound organelle that uses light energy and makes food, a sugar called glucose from water and carbon dioxide In a process known as photosynthesis
Golgi Apparatus a complex of vesicles and folded membranes within the cytoplasm of most eukaryotic cells, involved in secretion and intracellular transport.
Cell Membrane A flexible covering that protects the inside of a cell from the environment outside the cell
Cell Wall A stiff structure outside the cell membrane that protects a cell from attack by viruses and other harmful organisms
Cytoskeleton Central Vacuole A network of threadlike proteins joined together that gives a cell it's shape and helps it move
Smooth endoplasmic reticulum a network of tubular membranes within the cytoplasm of the cell, occurring with a smooth surface
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum a network of tubular membranes within the cytoplasm of the cell, occurring with a rough surface
Lysosome is used to split substances apart
Centriole a minute cylindrical organelle near the nucleus
DNA a molecule that encodes the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms
Flagellum A skinny thread like organism in a cell
Capsule is a outer shell on a cell to protect it
Prokaryotic Cells is a cell that lacks a membrane-bound nucleus
Eukaryotic Cells is a cell with a nucleus and other structures
Organelles is the name for a membrane-bound structure with a specific purpose
