| Transgenic | An organism that has one or more genes inserted into it's genome from another organism |

| Gene sequencing | DNA nucleotides I'm genes are put in order |
| Human Genome Project | Map and sequence of human genetic and indefinitely al genes in the sequence |
| Genetic screening | The act of testing a persons DNA to see how likely a person is of having or passing a genetic disorder |
