| Cellulose | Carbohydrates in plant cell walls forming thick and tough mesh of fibers |
| Glucose | Different types of sugars in different cells. |
| Homeostasis | Process of maintaining equilibrium in cells eternal environments. |

| Lipid | Large organic compounds made mostly of carbon and hydrogen with small amounts of oxygen. |
| Phosolipid | A fatty acid with a glycerol backbone, two fatty acid chains, and a phosphate group |
| Hydrophobic | Fear of water (Fatty acid tails.) |
| Hydrophilic | Liking water (Polar heads.) |
| Fluid Mosaic Model | The model of the plasma membrane (lipid by layer acts like a fluid.) |
| Amino Acids | Basic Building blocks of protein molecules. |
| Protein | Large complex polymer essential to all life composed of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and sometimes sulfur. |
