What does extinct mean? When every single one of a certain creature dies out and none are left on earth
What are actinofibrillae? The fibers that reinforce the patagium (the skin of the wing)
What is the flocculus? A part of the brain that is especially big in pterosaurs
What is peer review? To have an equal look over and study your work
From fossils, can scientists know the size of animal? yes
From fossils, can scientists know the color of the skin or fur of an animal? no
From fossils, can scientists know if an animal lived alone or in groups? no
Which types of pterosaurs have long tails? rhamphorhynchoids
Which types of pterosaurs have short tails? pterodactyloids
How are pterosaur bones different than dinosaurs bones? pterosaurs bones are hollow with supports inside like birds dinosaurs have solid bones
