Biotechnology. use of living things to make useful products.
micro-organisms. tiny living things.
Fungi cannot... Make their own food.
Bacteria cause... e.g. Sore throats, food poisoning and tetanus.
Two uses of biotechnology are.. using yeast to make alcohol and using enzymes from bacteria in washing powders.
they act as decomposers. Fungi and Bacteria
they cause tonsillitis and food poisoning. Bacteria
they cause dry wood to rot. Fungi
they are used to make yoghurt. Bacteria
they cause tooth decay. Bacteria
they are used to make flavoursome cheeses Fungi
viruses cause common illnesses such as... common cold, chicken pox and influenza
