Microbiology and Biotechnology

Biotechnology. use of living things to make useful products.
micro-organisms. tiny living things.
Fungi cannot... Make their own food.
Bacteria cause... e.g. Sore throats, food poisoning and tetanus.
Two uses of biotechnology are.. using yeast to make alcohol and using enzymes from bacteria in washing powders.
they act as decomposers. Fungi and Bacteria

they are used to make yoghurt. Bacteria
they cause tooth decay. Bacteria
