| ADH | Hormone secreted by the POSTERIOR PITUITARY GLAND and also by nerve endings in the hypothalamus; affects blood pressure by stimulating capillary muscles and reduces urine flow by affecting reabsorption of water by kidney tubules. |
| T3 & T4 | Triiodothyronine and thyroxine produced by the THYROID GLAND and are primarily responsible regulation of metabolism. |
| Glucagon | Peptide hormone secreted by the PANCREAS, raises blood glucose level. |
| Insulin | Peptide hormone produced by BETA CELLS OF THE PANCREAS and is central regulating carbohydrate and fat metabolism in the body. |
| Cortisol | Steroid hormone produced by the Zona fasciculata of the adernal cortex which is released in the response to stress and a low level of blood glucocoticoids. |
| Epinephrine | Epinephrine has many functions in the body, regulating heart rate, blood vessel and air passage diameters, and metabolic shifts; epinephrine release is a crucial component of the fight-or-flight response of the sympathetic nervous system |
| Progesterone | Steroid hormone involved in the female menstrual cycle, pregnancy and embryogenisis of humans and other species. OVARIES |

| FSH & LH | Synthesized and secreted by the anterior pituitary gland. Regulates the development growth pubertal maturation and reproductive processes of the body. |
| hGh | A peptide hormone that stimulates growth, cell reproduction and regeneration in humans and other animals. It is a type of mitogen which is specific only to certain kinds of cells. |
| TSH | Hormone that stimulates the thyroid gland to produce thyroxine (T4), and then triiodothyronine (T3) which stimulates the metabolism of almost every tissue in the body |
