| Calcium | Strengthens bones Source- Dairy Products |
| Joints | Where bones connect |
| 3 Types of Joints | Fused Joints, ball and socket joints, Hinged joints |
| Fused Joints | Joint where there is no movement e.g The Skull |
| Ball and Socket Joint | Allows movement in many directions also known as a synovial joint e.g The Shoulder |
| Hinged Joint | Only moves in one direction e.g Knee |
| Ligaments | Tough Elastic fibers that hold joints together |
| Cartilage | Prevents bones from rubbing of each other |
| Tendons | Connect muscle to bone |
| Antagonistic Pairs of Muscles | Muscles that work opposite each other e.g Bicep and tricep |
