Inference Any information that you can figure outbased on what you learn. This is a guess or prediction, NOT information that you sensed directly.
Metabolism Getting energy through creatingor eating food, then eliminating waste products.
Constant The aspects of an experiment or study that the researcherkeeps the same across all trials and samples.
Observation Any information that can be seen, sensed, or detected directly
Control The baseline for an experiment, where no conditions have been changed.
commensalism symbiotic relationship in which one member benefits and the other is neither helped nor harmed.
solution mixture of 2 substances or more in which the molecules are evenly distributed.
concentration it is the mass of solute in a given volume of solution
facilitated diffusion movement of specific molecules across the membrane through protein channels.
diffusion Process by which molecules tend to move from an area where they are more concentrated to an area of less concentration.
