Cell Transport
| Term | Definition |

| Semi-pereable | the ability to allow some thing to pass through while preventing others from passing through. |
| Diffusion | the movement of molecules from an area of more crowded to an area of less crowded |
| Osmosis | the movement of water across molecules |
| Equilibrium | when molecules are equally spread out and they move at equal rates in and out of the cell |
| Passive Transport | movement across a cell membrane that requires NO energy |
| Active Transport | movement across a cell membrane that requires energy |
| Endocytosis | when large molecules, such as bacteria and proteins, enter cell |
| Exocytosis | when large molecules, such as wastes exit cell |
