| Archaebacteria | Prokaryotes (no nucleus) live In harsh areas like hot springs/swamps, most areas are oxygen free, methane producers. |
| Eubacteria | Prokaryotes with cell walls, auto and heterotrophs, ex: strep, botulism |
| Protists | Eukaryotes that lack complex organ system and live in wet areas, auto and heterotrophs, ex: slim mold, paramecium kelp. |
| Fungi | Uni/multicellular eukaryotes that absorb nutrients from organic matter, ex: mushrooms, morals |
| Plants | Multicellular, photosynthetic, eukaryotic organisms, contains chloroplasts and cell walls made of cellulose and has 250,000 known organisms. |
| Animals | Multicellular heterotrophs, have developed nervous systems, do not have cell walls, and have,multiple feeding habits. |

| Taxonomy | Branch of biology based on naming and grouping organisms based on studies. |
