TermDefinition
DNA Contains the information that determines what a living thing inherits and needs to live.
Chromosomes Chromatin packed into a visible structure.
Cell Cycle The life cycle of the eukaryotic cell
Inter-phase When the cell is not dividing.
Mitosis Is when the nucleus divides into two
Cytokineses The division of cytoplasm.
Homologous Chromosomes Carry the genetics during sexual reproduction.
Meiosis The type of cell division that produces haploid sex cell.
Asexual Reproduction One organism produces one or more organisms that are identical to itself.
Sexual Reproduction Two parents each contribute a sex cell to the new organism.
