| Division | The Phylum taxon used for plants |
| Kingdom | A taxon of similar phyla or divisions |
| Archaebacteria | Prokaryotes that live in harsh areas like hot springs/swamps |
| Eubacteria | Prokaryotes with strong cell walls |
| Protists | Eukaryotes that lack complex organ systems and live in wet areas |
