Taxonomy Groups and names organisms based on chapter instincts.
Binomial Nomencature Two word naming system.
Genus Group of similar species.
Specific Epithet This is the second word which describes the characteristic of the organism.
Order Taxon of similar families.
Class Taxon of similar orders.
Phylum Taxon of similar classes.
Division Plants use division instead of phylum.
Kingdom Taxon of similar phyla or divisions.
Family Group of similar genera.
