How many monomers make up a disaccharide? 2
What is the difference between the bonding in amylose and amylopectin? Amylose only has 1-4 carbon-carbon bonds, and amylopectin has 1-4 and 1-6 carbon-carbon bonds
Name one use of starch. An energy store in plants
Where is fructose found? In fruit
Name 3 disaccharides Maltose, sucrose and lactose
What is the purpose of the side branches in amylopectin? They snap off to release energy
