Photosynthesis

Anabolic Anabolism is the synthesis of complex molecules in living organisms from simpler ones jointly with the storage of energy.
ATP ATP is a nucleotide that contains a large amount of chemical energy stored in its high-energy phosphate bonds.
ATP Synthase An enzyme that catalyzes the formation of ATP from the phosphorylation of ADP with inorganic phosphate, using a form of energy.
Autotroph An organism capable of synthesizing its own food from inorganic substances, using light or chemical energy.
C6 H12 O6 Glucose.
Calvin Cycle A series of chemical reactions that occurs as part of the dark reactions of photosynthesis.
Carbon Fixation The process by which photosynthetic organisms such as plants turn inorganic carbon into organic compounds.
Catabolic The set of metabolic pathways that break down molecules into smaller units and release energy.
Chemoauotroph An organism that obtains energy through chemical process, which is by the oxidation of electron donating molecules from the environment, rather than by photosynthesis.
