| DNA Replication | When DNA multiplies. |
| Double Helix | A full ladder of DNA with corresponding nucleotides. |
| Nitrogenous Bases | Bases that are A T C or G's. |
| Codon | Sets of 3 Nucleotides. |
| Messanger RNA | RNA that is sent by the DNA. |
| Ribosomal RNA | RNA that synthesizes proteins. |
| Transcription | The instructions for the synthesis of proteins. |
| Transfer RNA | RNA that can move throughout the Cell. |
| Translation | The process by which a sequence of nucleotide triplets in a messenger RNA molecule gives rise to a specific sequence of amino acids during synthesis of a polypeptide or protein. |
| Chromosomal Mutation | When chromosomes join backwards or join the wrong chromosome. |
| Frameshift Mutation | A mutation in which a single base is added to or deleted from DNA. |
| Mutagen | An agent that causes genetic mutation. |
| Mutation | When something happens and disrupts the cell production. |
| Point Mutation | When a nucleotide is replaced by another nucleotide. |
