What a primer? in the base of the cartridge, struck by the firing pin of the gun
What ignites the gunpowder in the cartridge case? the ignited primer
What pushes the projectile out of the cartridge case? the primer igniting the gunpowder creates gases that push the projectile out of the cartridge case, along the barrel, and out of the gun
Most bullets are made of what lead
Bullets may be jacketed with brass copper steel
Armor-piercing bullets are made from what? Steel or tungsten alloys covered with a thin coating of softer metals
What are class evidence of bullets? weight dimensions shape type of bullet
Rifling increases what? Accuracy of shooting
The cartridge consists of what? the bullet and a case/shell with the powder and a primer
