| Pyramid of Numbers | Shows the number of individual organisms in each trophic level of an ecosystem. |
| Kinetic Energy | The energy of motion. |
| Calorie | The energy required to raise the temperature of one gram of water up one degree celsius. |
| Potential Energy | Energy that is stored. |
| ATP | ATP is used in cellular respiration to release glucose, carbon dioxide, and water. |
| Thermal Energy | Energy that is released through heat. |
| Chemical Energy | Organic compounds have a form of potential energy called chemical energy. The rearrangement of atoms during chemical reactions is the process of chemical energy. |
